As I was tearfully watching the news coverage of our exit from Iraq, Jimmy came by and let me know that there is a very important significance to this day. Brett Favre is returning to the Vikings and he believes that this had a tremendous impact in the troop withdrawal. I know. I should have let this go. But I can't. Brett Favre...quarterback...superhero...worldwide conflict negotiator. Amazing.

ReplyDeleteFrom Patti: Talk about burying the lead!!
ReplyDeleteCan I say that I heard about this Brett thing on the way to work and almost threw up? Gag, choke, puke. When will the drama end? Sorry, Jane, I cannot handle the drama anymore. He needs to retire. I cannot handle it. Every year we have to hear about Brett this and that. Stop the saga.

I meant the above comment with the best of sarcasm and humor....:) I just wanted to clarify this.

Just so you know, Jen, Brett is on Jane's total hate list. She would comment more in the vein that you have. I, on the other hand, love the guy!
ReplyDeleteUh oh, I am in trouble now! :) I am sorry if I offended you, seriously though, I never want to hurt anyone's feelings and that is why I did want to be sure that I put the second comment in there that I was being sarcastic and humorous. I suppose we have to differ on one subject. :)
ReplyDeleteSilly girl - I have a blog so that I can actually have discourse with people. And, yes, sometimes they will disagree with me! If you think you'll hurt my feelings by not liking Brett, you should hear the shit JANE says about him. I welcome all comments, whether dissenting or agreeing!!!
